Ms. Luthey's 7th grade students were asked to choose a poem that they felt they made a deep, personal connection with. They were then asked to show their perspective on the poem and what the author was trying to say by creating a video to show that understanding. These are the best of those videos.

Through the dedication of the EMS staff, and with the help of the student council, enough food was brought in, to feed about 16 families this Thanksgiving holiday. This food drive was a competition among grade levels and because they brought in the most food, the 8th grade class won a no-uniform day before break. This was such a success, we will be sponsoring another food drive for the upcoming Christmas holiday.
