Counselor Profiles

Michelle Chandler

Hi, I am the counselor for the A and B teams.  I have been with Aurora Public Schools as a school counselor since 2001.  I have worked in both middle school and high school.  Before becoming a school counselor, I worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for 10 years.    I am married and have two sons that are both in college.  I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and traveling.

My job is to accelerate student learning every day.  I do my job by ensuring that all students acquire academic, post- secondary and personal/social competencies in order to be community minded contributing members of society.  My community needs me to do my job.
